Each edition features essential updates and timely data analysis, tracking trends in power generation, fuel consumption, and renewable energy growth. It also tracks the changes in greenhouse gas emissions and evaluates progress toward India’s climate goals including net-zero target. These monthly snapshots are part of the EMPHASIS (Exploring Mitigation Pathways for Holistic Sustainable Development in Indian States) project, a four-year research initiative that examines climate mitigation and energy transition pathways at Indian state and national levels
